Wire mesh decks form the storage surface at each rack level, while rear safety mesh panels reduce the risk of goods falling from the rack. The complete order was powder-coated: the rear mesh panels in blue and the rack decks in a zinc-coloured finish.
The pallet rack gratings were supplied with overhanging edging and a pallet stop plate; an edged design was used for the cantilever racks.
The U-section encloses the beam on both sides, prevents lateral movement and eliminates the risk of the grating dropping through. It provides a firmer, more stable support for high loads.
