Floor grates and stair treads

Floor grates and stair treads are an integral part of building structures for the purposes of walking and traveling platforms, overhead walkways, ramps, terraces and escape routes of buildings, including staircases to the interiors and exteriors of buildings. They are used in all areas of industry, especially in engineering, construction, automotive, chemical, etc.

Our production is mainly focused on producing grates according to the product standard: RAL-GZ 638 and we specialize in the technology of producing grates by pressing.

Stair treads

These products are load-bearing treads for stairs of buildings, terraces, ramps and bridge structures. They are manufactured according to the DIN 24531 standard and can be used for assembly into a structure right up to the construction site.

Walk-on grates with upper fastening clips

To fix grates to structures, it is possible to supply upper fastening clips, which fit the size of the grate eye and are anchored to bearing bars with a self drilling screws.

Grates for transport warehouse carts

For moving transport carts, we recommend designing mesh grates so that the mesh eye size meets safety regulations and the required load of transport carts as well as their type of wheels.

Grates for anchoring with self drilling screws

Pads are welded around the perimeter of the grate, into which it is possible to attach the grate to the supporting structure with a felf drilling screw.

Construction of floor grates

We recommend the type of rack according to type of loading. We produce the orientation and size of mesh dimensions as well as the design of the bearing bars depending on the required load capacity.

 

Fasteners

Placing grates on a structure in the direction of bearing bars should, if possible, be equal to at least height of bearing bars, min. 25 mm. To prevent lifting and shifting, grates is attached to the load bearing structure with fasteners (at least 4 pcs / 1 grate) or by welding.

Anti-slip inclusion of pressed grates

Pressed grates are also produced in anti-slip designs. Their application is in operations where there is a risk of less adhesion and thus a risk of injury.

Stair treads

Corresponding to the DIN 24531 standard. Stair treads are made of grates according to DIN 24537, using a anti-slip stepping edge that is reinforced with a special profile, and the fixing plates (side edges) are designed for screwing the step to the supporting structure (staircase). The admissible force acting centrally for stepping on an area of ​​100 x 100 mm is 1500 N.Stair treads can be selected according to the attached table of standard dimensions of stair treads.

Surface treatment

Hot zinc

It is especially suitable for outdoor environments on surfaces in front of buildings.

Galvanic zinc

It is more suitable for indoor areas of storage halls, where there is no natural outdoor humidity. This type of surface treatment has a great design effect and meets all conditions for the durability of the surface treatment during handling.

Black zinc

It has an anthracite finish with high-quality resistance and is suitable for spaces where the customer is looking for the possibility of visual differentiation from standard industrial grates.
